Winter Thyme Tea

Crafted with thyme, ginger, apples, and cinnamon, this aromatic blend is perfect for the season. Elevate the experience by adding your favorite loose-leaf tea, creating a warm and inviting beverage that captures the seasonal spirit in every comforting sip.

Ingredients

  • Thyme Sprig: 2 (one for the tea, one for garnish)

  • Ginger: 1 tbsp, chopped or minced

  • Apples: 2 heaping tbsp, chopped

  • Loose-Leaf Tea: 1-2 tbsp

  • Nutmeg: a pinch

  • Cinnamon Stick: 2 (one for the tea, one for garnish)

  • Dehydrated Orange: for garnish

  • Honey: to taste

  • Boiling Water

Instructions

  1. In a tea diffuser, add 1 sprig of thyme, ginger, apples, loose-leaf tea, nutmeg and 1 cinnamon stick.

  2. Add in boiling water, and let infuse for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Remove tea infuser and garnish with more thyme, cinnamon stick, and a dehydrated orange slice. Add in honey for some added sweetness. Enjoy!

Feel free to sub the honey for maple syrup, or some cane sugar, if that is your preference!
I used lotus leaf tea, as that is one of the loose-leaf teas I had on hand, but feel free to add your favourite in!
